I provided counseling to clients from a diverse student population, facing issues related to depressed mood, anxiety, acculturative distress, relationship problems, academic difficulties, and other adjustment-related issues.  

  • Interventions utilized included behavioral strategies (e.g., reinforcement schedules, DRI/DRA, etc.), ACT strategies (e.g., acceptance, use of metaphors, etc.), existential strategies (e.g., the “million dollar” question, empty chair, etc.), interpersonal interventions, and psychoeducation.
  • Promptly completed documents such as intake notes, weekly notes, treatment plans, and termination reports.
  • Conducted case presentations and participated in weekly didactic training and individual supervision.

  • Worked with other organizations in the Central Washington community to provide a network of social services to those members of the community that needed it.
